Gino Sarfatti (1912 – 1985), the famous Italian designer and founder of the famous lighting company 'Arteluce', remains one of the greatest lighting designers of the 20th century. A pioneer in the exploration of new lighting functions, Sarfatti has abolished the boundaries between the functional and decorative aspects of lighting fixtures, thus creating new typologies of lighting fixtures.

The 2097 pendant light, designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1958, is an iconic masterpiece of 20th century design. It reinvents traditional chandeliers to offer a unique ultramodern form. This pendant light strikes a perfect balance between the pomp of classic baroque chandeliers and the minimalist style of the 50s, all enhanced with a touch of industrial aesthetic.

The metal structure consists of multiple spokes of different lengths arranged around a large central cylinder. Each of these spokes is equipped with bakelite sockets that support a myriad of clear glass bulbs (50 LED bulbs included).
