Terms of Sales


1. GENERAL

These general conditions of sale apply to any order placed on the website www.the-woods.fr
The Woods Gallery reserves the right to adapt or modify these general conditions of sale. In the event of modification, the general conditions of sale in force on the day the order is placed will be applied to each order.


2/ PRICE AND PAYMENT

Prices are indicated in euros including tax.
They do not include shipping costs.
Shipping costs vary depending on the item and are mentioned at the time of finalizing the purchase.
The Woods Gallery reserves the right to change its prices at any time without notice. Welcome offers giving entitlement to a -10% reduction cannot be combined with other current reductions.
The products will be invoiced to the buyer based on the prices in effect at the time of validation of the order.
Payment for purchases is made by credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa and Master Card), and bank transfer. Payment is made directly on our bank's secure server.
All data entered to process the payment is encrypted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol.
The seller retains full ownership of the products sold until full payment of the principal price, fees and taxes included.
From delivery, the risk of the goods is transferred to the customer.
No order can be shipped before receipt of full payment for the products ordered.


3/ AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY

The product offer is valid while stocks last.
If the product(s) are not available, The Woods Gallery undertakes to inform the customer by email as soon as possible.
The buyer can then choose to maintain their order, exchange the unavailable product for another product or cancel the order.
In the event of cancellation of the order, the refund will be made within 30 days of purchase.
Subject to product availability, orders will be shipped within 3 to 10 working days (excluding public holidays) for mainland France, and 10 to 30 days for abroad.
Orders are shipped by express transport (Colissimo followed with signature, delivery by carrier with appointment, etc.) depending on the nature and dimensions of the packages.
The products are delivered to the delivery address mentioned by the buyer when finalizing the purchase. In the event of an error in the wording of the delivery address by the buyer, The Woods Gallery cannot be held responsible for delays or non-delivery of the products ordered. In this case, the costs incurred for reshipping the goods will be charged to the buyer.


4/ RECEIPT OF PACKAGES

The Woods Gallery informs the customer that it is their responsibility to inspect and open their packages upon receipt of delivery and in the presence of the delivery person. The customer will formalize his acceptance of the delivery by signing the delivery receipt issued by the carrier.
Upon delivery, and particularly for furniture, the customer or recipient must open the package in the presence of the carrier in order to check the condition of the products. In the event of damaged products or broken products resulting from transport, the customer must refuse the package(s) and indicate the anomaly on the return slip and inform The Woods Gallery as soon as possible.
It is important that the customer reports any damage noted on the delivered products on the delivery slip. If these mentions are not made on the delivery slip presented to the customer by the carrier, no complaint can be accepted retrospectively by The Woods Gallery.


5/ WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with article L.121-20 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of fourteen days to exercise his right of withdrawal and return at his own expense the product(s) which do not give him satisfaction (are excluded goods made at your request or clearly personalized, such as custom-made furniture, sofas or armchairs upholstered with the fabric of your choice). The products must be returned in their original packaging, in resalable condition. Any product returned damaged will not be refunded.
PLEASE NOTE: any “personalized” product (choice of fabric, color of wood, custom dimensions, etc.) or not in stock and specially manufactured by the manufacturer for the customer cannot be refunded.


6/ RESPONSIBILITIES

The seller cannot be held responsible for the total or partial non-performance of the obligations linked to the order in the event of force majeure or fortuitous event.
The photographs and texts reproduced and illustrating the products presented are not contractual. Consequently, the seller cannot be held liable in the event of an error in one of these photographs or one of these texts.
In the online sales process, the seller cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage linked to the use of the internet such as loss of data, intrusion, virus or other technical problem.


7/ COMPUTING AND FREEDOMS

The customer has, in application of the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, a right of access, rectification and deletion of data concerning him and kept by the merchant.


8/ APPLICABLE LAW

These general conditions of sale are subject to French law. For any dispute relating to the contract between the seller and the buyer, the Paris court will have sole jurisdiction.
In accordance with the Consumer Code (Article L611-1 et seq.), in the event of a dispute with SARL The Woods Gallery, you can call upon a consumer mediator.


9/ PAYMENT IN SEVERAL INSTALLMENTS WITH ALMA

If you pay for your order in several installments, you accept Alma's general customer conditions . as well as the Alma special conditions for customers of The Woods Gallery .
