The Woods Gallery / Paris
Icons that made their mark, vintage chosen piece by piece, and objects singular enough to change the feel of an interior.
Live first, decorate second
Start with the space you live in. For each room we have gathered furniture, lighting and objects that can change its rhythm without making it uniform.
Living archives
They changed their era without losing their presence. Six cult pieces, chosen as much for the stories they tell as for what they do to an interior.
Modular
Designed to live anywhere, the Componibili stacks its uses behind a silhouette that became instantly recognisable. Practical, yes. Neutral, never.
Mouth
A pair of monumental lips, halfway between pop sculpture and radical furniture. Bocca does not furnish the room: it becomes the conversation.
Panthella
With its domed shade and flared base, Panthella casts as much softness as it commands presence. With Verner Panton, colour does not decorate light: it composes it.
Snoopy
A marble base, a gleaming cap, a name borrowed from a comic strip: Snoopy turns a feat of balance into a familiar presence.
VP Globe
Beneath its transparent sphere, reflectors and colour remain visible. The light is no longer simply diffused: it is staged.
Cactus
A coat stand by function, a surrealist sculpture by temperament, Cactus humorously blurs the line between art and domestic use.
