Founded in 1957, Poltronova was born from the collaboration between Ettore Sottsass and Sergio Cammilli, with the ambition of reinventing the home inspired by anti-design. Under Sottsass's artistic direction, the brand became a centre of experimentation and radicalism, working with avant-garde figures such as Superstudio and Archizoom. In 2000, Roberta Meloni took over Poltronova, reconnecting with its visionary essence and relaunching production of its iconic pieces, celebrated for their nonconformity and sensuality.
