Piet Hein
Piet Hein, Danish mathematician, poet and designer born in 1905 and died in 1996, trained at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts.
He established the use of the superellipse in Scandinavian architecture, which, after research and calculations, gives the shape of the top of the Super-Elliptical tables from the Fritz Hansen brand.
