Transparent Speaker
The designers from the Swedish studio People People wanted to create a speaker combining high quality sound and a timeless design, capable of adapting to different interiors and lifestyles.
The Transparent Speaker has remarkable acoustic qualities. It offers enough external connection options not to quickly become obsolete. The Transparent Speaker consists of an airtight glass enclosure in which three loudspeakers are located as if suspended in space: two full-range loudspeakers with a diameter of 76 mm and a loudspeaker with a diameter of 165 mm. diameter dedicated to bass. The waterproof speaker enclosure guarantees precise and fast bass sounds, as well as very good linearity of the frequency response.
The three speakers are powered by an 80-watt amplifier module and benefit from DSP audio processing. The front control panel includes the volume control as well as the bass and treble adjustment potentiometers. The transparent speaker has two mini-jack audio inputs (one on the rear and one on the front) that can be connected to a portable music player, smartphone or laptop. The USB port can power a Bluetooth or WiFi audio receiver to stream music wirelessly from a compatible device (smartphone, tablet, computer).
