Julien Renault is a French designer who grew up in the Paris region. He studied industrial design at ESAD Design & Art School in Reims. he continues his university studies with ECAL in Switzerland.

His working approach combines objective and rational methods with personal and artistic freedom. He tries to beautify everyday life. He draws his inspiration from everywhere. He is convinced that all objects have an unconscious effect on our lives.

Today he has set up his own design studio in Brussels

The HAY brand was founded in 2002 in Denmark by the couple Rolf & Mette Hay.
Inspired by art, architecture and fashion, the Hay couple wanted to produce designer furniture accessible to as many people as possible, reflecting the innovative grandeur of Danish design from the 1950s and 1960s.
Hay places design at the center of the home and office with simple, functional and aesthetic products, in collaboration with contemporary artists and designers.
Since 2018, HAY has been expanding and developing across the Atlantic by partnering with the American furniture company Herman Miller, whose historical heritage in design is no longer in doubt.
