About Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, designer brothers from Brittany based in Paris, have been working together since 1998. Ronan graduated from the École supérieure des Arts décoratifs in Paris and Erwan attended the École nationale supérieure des Arts in Cergy before they established their own studio.

Together, they have transformed the design sector and offered new perspectives in terms of materiality and purpose. For Hay, they have designed the Palissade collection, the Palissade Park collection, the Copenhague collection, the Can sofa, the Élémentaire chair, and the Balcony collection. They also develop their own personal projects individually: Ronan’s drawings, prints, and ceramics, and Erwan’s lighting for Flos.
