Cassina LC9 Stool - A Creation by Charlotte Perriand

Designed in 1927 by Charlotte Perriand for her apartment on Place Saint-Sulpice in Paris, the LC9 stool is a historic piece of design. Initially made with a metal tube structure and a rattan seat, this stool was integrated into the famous Le Corbusier collection, joining iconic pieces such as the continuously adjustable chaise longue and the Grand Confort armchairs. In its initial concept, the LC9 stool found its place in the bathroom, with a sponge seat, embodying the importance of personal hygiene in the modern movement. Cassina is now reissuing it in several versions, adapted to various environments.
