Panthella 250 portable lamp - Louis Poulsen

Verner Panton created the Panthella in collaboration with Louis Poulsen in 1971. Today, the Panthella is recognized as one of Panton's most important design icons with its recognizable organic form. The top shade directs the exceptional glare-free light downwards, so that it is in turn reflected by the trumpet-shaped base. The Panthella 250 portable lamp is a portable version of the popular Panthella table lamp, with a lampshade with a diameter of 250 mm.

Learn more about the brand

The Louis Poulsen house has been designing exceptional lighting since 1874. The Danish brand considers light as a material that is sculpted through the skilful handling of chiaroscuro and innovative techniques such as the famous system of three lampshades developed by Poul Henningsen . Its ambition is to offer soft, indirect lighting, welcoming and a source of well-being, without ever dazzling.
The brand is committed to providing lighting made to last using the best quality materials, assembled by highly skilled craftsmen. The pieces can thus be passed down from generation to generation, notably thanks to a timeless design, unchanged since the 1950s for certain models.
