Selab is not a person: it is the collective of designers working for Seletti, the brand's in-house design studio, brought together by Stefano and Miria Seletti, the children of founder Romano Seletti, who now run the company. The distributor Nedgis details its composition — Miria and Stefano Seletti, Vittorio Boni, the Badini Crea Team studio, and Luca Goglio — and credits it notably with the Mother chandelier, the Neon Art light lettering, and the Bouché family of lamps. Selab designs part of the catalog and regularly involves external designers in its projects, which explains why several pieces bear a double signature. There is therefore no individual biography behind this name: it is a studio, not a designer.
