Lire la suitePhilo is an electrical cable supplied in a five-meter roll. The conductor is made of fine-stranded copper, the insulation is PVC, and the cable combines two 0.75 mm diameter conductors. The exterior is sheathed in cotton: it is this textile covering that carries the color, throughout the entire length of the roll.
From one roll to the next, the cable is the same: same length, same construction, same electrical performance. Only the shade of the cotton changes, from white to bold colors. The choice is therefore based solely on color, without changing the cable's capacity, and two different colors can be installed side by side in the same setup.
The roll is sold as a single unit: the available length is known in advance; it cannot be ordered by the meter. Five meters take up little space when coiled and can be stored with other small hardware, making the roll easy to keep in reserve. Since the color runs the entire length, it should be chosen based on the wall or ceiling the cable traverses as much as the device it connects to.

Seletti est un éditeur italien fondé en 1964 à Cicognara, dans la province de Mantoue. La maison édite du mobilier, des luminaires, de l'art de la table et des objets de décoration, et revendique un lien entre design et pop art en détournant les icônes du quotidien. Elle collabore avec des designers et artistes comme Marcantonio, auteur de la Monkey Lamp, Tatiana Brodatch ou Codalunga. En 2014, elle lance Seletti wears Toiletpaper, des assiettes, mugs et nappes qui reprennent les images du magazine créé par Maurizio Cattelan et Pierpaolo Ferrari.
