Lire la suitePhilo is an electrical cable supplied in a five-meter roll. The conductor is made of fine-stranded copper with PVC insulation, and the cable combines two 0.75 mm diameter conductors. The exterior is sheathed in cotton: it is this textile coating that carries the color, along the entire length of the roll.
From one roll to the next, the cable is the same: same length, same construction, same electrical properties. Only the shade of the cotton changes, from white to bold colors. The choice is therefore based solely on color, without changing the cable's specifications, and two different colors can be installed side-by-side in the same setup.
The roll is sold as a single piece: the available length is predetermined and cannot be ordered by the meter. Five meters take up little space when coiled and can be stored with other small hardware, making the roll easy to keep in reserve. As the color runs the entire length, it is chosen based on the wall or ceiling the cable traverses as much as on the device it connects to.

Selab est le collectif de conception interne de Seletti, réuni autour de Stefano et Miria Seletti avec Vittorio Boni, le Badini Crea Team et Luca Goglio. On lui doit une large part du catalogue de la maison, dont la boutique présente les verres Glasses from Sonny et les mugs I-Wares.

Seletti est un éditeur italien fondé en 1964 à Cicognara, dans la province de Mantoue. La maison édite du mobilier, des luminaires, de l'art de la table et des objets de décoration, et revendique un lien entre design et pop art en détournant les icônes du quotidien. Elle collabore avec des designers et artistes comme Marcantonio, auteur de la Monkey Lamp, Tatiana Brodatch ou Codalunga. En 2014, elle lance Seletti wears Toiletpaper, des assiettes, mugs et nappes qui reprennent les images du magazine créé par Maurizio Cattelan et Pierpaolo Ferrari.
