Love In Bloom Giant heart vase in white by Marcantonio

Love In Bloom is an anatomical heart transformed into a vase: the ventricles serve as a reservoir, and the severed arteries become the necks into which stems are inserted. The molding reproduces the contours of the organ, and the flower takes the place of blood. Marcantonio has created the piece in white porcelain, gold porcelain, and glass, and has since expanded it to other household objects, including a box. As the necks are narrow and of varying heights, the flowers stand on their own, allowing for an arrangement stem by stem.

The Giant version changes the scale: 60 cm high, molded in fiberglass rather than porcelain. It is no longer a table vase but a piece for the floor or a large console, which can accommodate branches and long stems. Dimensions: W 42 × D 20 × H 60 cm.
