Pavilion AV19 dining table by Anderssen & Voll

The AV19 is the 200 cm table in the series: a lacquered wood veneer MDF tabletop resting on the same bent steel tube base as the chairs, in matte black or chrome. It is EN 15372 level 2 tested, the standard for intensive contract use, making it as suitable for a meeting room as it is for a dining room. A cable grommet is available, for orders of ten tables or more.

Furniture designed for a specific space

Pavilion did not originate from an abstract brief. &Tradition asked Anderssen & Voll to refit the Langelinie Pavillonen in Copenhagen, a 1958 building designed by Eva and Niels Koppel that hosts banquets and seminars. Hence the constraints that shaped the series: stackable, lightweight to move, sturdy enough for intensive collective use, and discreet enough not to compete with the architecture. The result consists of two materials, bent steel tubing and press-molded veneer, assembled with visible fittings.
