Rey series

The Rey collection was born from a chair designed in 1971 by the Swiss designer Bruno Rey for the manufacturer Dietiker, and has been reissued since 2022 by HAY in collaboration with the same manufacturer. Its core principle lies in an unseen detail: die-cast aluminum brackets connect the legs to the seat without a single screw entering the wood. Building on the chair—available plain or with an upholstered seat—HAY has developed a stool, a bar stool in two heights, a round table, and a coffee table, all crafted from solid beech and molded beech veneer, finished with water-based lacquer.
