Nico Vascellari

Nico Vascellari is an Italian artist born in 1976 in Vittorio Veneto, Veneto. His work blends performance art and sound exploration; in 2012, he founded the group Niños du Brasil and has exhibited at the 52nd Venice Biennale as well as several other European biennials. In 2003, he opened Codalunga in his hometown, the public part of his studio, which hosts exhibitions and performances by other artists: it is this space that gives its name to the collection produced by Seletti. He is therefore not a designer by training, and the objects he creates for the brand are the manufactured versions of existing artworks.
