CPH Series

CPH is the series of tables that Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec designed for HAY from their Copenhagen studio — hence the name. The principle is the same from one table to the next: a frame in water-lacquered oak or walnut, four legs slightly splayed and set back from the edge, and a tabletop that changes everything depending on the material. Linoleum is matte and warm to the touch, and does not reflect light; laminate is hard and fears neither water nor a placed dish; lacquered veneer retains the wood grain. The series covers the round CPH 20 and CPH 25 tables, the rectangular CPH 30 table, and, in the HAY catalog, desks and a coffee table.
