Antonio Citterio approaches lighting like an architect: discreet, precise, and built to last. Born in Meda in 1950 and a graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he divides his time between architecture and object design. His Kelvin, Ontherocks, and Wallstick lamps for Flos, and his Multiplo and Glossy tables for Kartell are in the catalogue.

Learn more about Antonio Citterio

Graduating with an architecture degree from the Politecnico di Milano in 1972, he immediately began designing for industry. In 2000, he founded the firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel with Patricia Viel, which carries out hotel, office, and residential projects worldwide.

His work as a designer has been honored with two Compasso d'Oro awards, in 1987 and 1994. The Kelvin desk lamp, articulated and perfectly balanced, summarizes his method quite well: nothing spectacular, everything is in the adjustment.
