PH 3/3 Pendant Lamp by Poul Henningsen

With the PH 3/3, Louis Poulsen is reissuing the "whole number" pendants from the three-shade system invented by Poul Henningsen in 1925-1926. Its top shade of approximately 30 cm is mirrored by the middle and lower shades in a 3:2:1 ratio, giving it a round, compact silhouette that is exceptionally glare-free. Designed to be hung relatively high in a room, it provides high-quality lighting coupled with a warm atmosphere. It is available in four finishes: mouth-blown white opal glass for a diffuse and uniform glow, black lacquered metal with a white interior for downward-directed light, a mixed version featuring black metal and opal glass, and a patinated brass and opal glass edition, where the untreated brass develops a beautiful patina over time.
