The Pao lamp collection was born from the collaboration of the hay brand and Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. Its name and aesthetics are linked to the soft and luminous shapes of traditional Mongolian tents called Pao. they are illuminated at night. the designer tried to transcribe this warmth and conviviality in the pao steel pendant light.
this suespsnion maintains a modest and imposing aesthetic. design is here put at the service of the environment. Thanks to LED technology, the light source is hidden in the lampshade, closed by an acrylic diffuser. Which gives a simple and refined design to this room.

Naoto Fukasawa created his design studio called Naoto Fukasawa design in 2003. His creations are known for their ability to transcribe the true essence of the object. His designs cover a wide variety of areas, from precision electronic equipment to furniture and interior spaces
He also serves on the advisory board of Muji and is the artistic director of Maruni. Fukasawa is the curator of the Japan Folk Crafts Museum, a professor at the Department of Integrated Design at Tama Art University, and one of the directors of 21_21 Design Sight.

The HAY brand was founded in 2002 in Denmark by the couple Rolf & Mette Hay. Inspired by art, architecture and fashion, the Hay couple wanted to produce designer furniture accessible to as many people as possible, reflecting the innovative grandeur of Danish design from the 1950s and 1960s. Hay places design at the center of the home and office with simple, functional and aesthetic products, in collaboration with contemporary artists and designers. Since 2018, HAY has been expanding and developing across the Atlantic by partnering with the American furniture company Herman Miller, whose historical heritage in design is no longer in doubt.

DELIVERY TIME
Products in stock, shipped via La Poste Colissimo or GLS, are sent within 48 hours (working days). Your order is delivered to your home within 2 to 5 working days for products in stock. A tracking number will be sent to you by email automatically. Larger products are shipped by specialized carrier. You will be contacted to set a time slot at your convenience. We also ensure international delivery of all our products by La Poste Colissimo, GLS or by specialized carrier.
IN-STORE COLLECTION
Products in stock, standard size, are available immediately after your order in our store THE WOODS GALLERY, 22 rue André del Sarte, 75018 Paris during opening hours (check on Google) Please show us your confirmation email when collecting.
Larger products must be collected by appointment. Please contact us to agree on the date and time by email: contact@the-woods.fr.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
The customer has a period of fourteen days to exercise his right of withdrawal and return at his own expense the products which do not give him satisfaction in accordance with article L.121-20 of the Consumer Code , The products must be returned in their original packaging, in resalable condition. Any product returned damaged will not be refunded. PLEASE NOTE: any "personalized" product (choice of fabric, color of wood, custom dimensions, etc.) cannot be refunded: the product is not in stock and is specially made by the manufacturer to the customer.
