Almond-shaped modules are grafted onto a tubular aluminum structure, each equipped with an LED strip housed on its edge using Flos's Edge Lighting technology. Each leaf pivots independently in 60-degree increments: you can direct the light down onto the table, toward a wall, or up to the ceiling, and the silhouette of the lamp changes accordingly. Installation is via a ceiling-mounted canopy, with a 260 cm cable that can be cut to the desired height. Dimming is handled by an external dimmer (not included) compatible with 0-10 V, 1-10 V, DALI, push-button, or potentiometer systems. Available in two lengths, S2 Short and S3 Short, and four finishes.

Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola est née en Espagne en 1961 et travaille à Milan, où elle a ouvert son studio en 2001. Formée auprès d'Achille Castiglioni, elle dessine du mobilier, des luminaires et des aménagements pour les grandes maisons italiennes, avec un goût marqué pour les matières et les formes souples.

Flos
Flos est fondée en 1962 à Merano par Dino Gavina et Cesare Cassina, avec Arturo Eisenkeil, qui importe des États-Unis une résine plastique projetée, le « cocoon ». Son nom, du latin « fleur », est choisi par Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. Dès 1962, Achille et Pier Giacomo Castiglioni dessinent pour la maison le lampadaire Arco, la lampe Taccia et le lampadaire Toio, avant que Tobia et Afra Scarpa ne rejoignent l'aventure. À partir de 1963, Sergio Gandini dirige l'entreprise, installée à Brescia.
