Lire la suiteThe Cupid Lamp takes the figure of the winged putto from classical statuary and casts it in resin, on the scale of a 63 cm tall lamp. Seletti describes the character as lively and a bit mischievous, captured in the moment he prepares to shoot his arrow. This is the principle behind all of Uto Balmoral's work for the brand: taking a motif that everyone recognizes, bringing it down from its pedestal, and entrusting it with light. The manufacturer announces red and white bulbs included with the lamp, but does not disclose the base type, wattage, or color temperature. With a footprint of 50 × 21 cm, the piece requires an open surface, such as a console, sideboard, or end of a bookshelf, rather than a bedside table. It is the largest of Uto Balmoral's statue lamps for Seletti, and the one that sits most like a sculpture.

La maison
Seletti
