Fromme lounge chair by Tom Chung

A relaxed variation of the Fromme collection, this lounge chair lowers the seat to 40 cm and widens the die-cast aluminum shell for a more laid-back posture. Its extruded aluminum tube base and matte-grained anti-UV powder coating allow it to move from the patio to the living room without missing a beat, while shock absorbers placed under the seat provide the metal with genuine comfort. Weighing 5.9 kg, it is easy to move and stackable up to four high for winter storage. The manufacturer provides a five-year warranty. It pairs naturally with the Fromme coffee table and is available in the 23 colors of the Petite Friture palette.

A collection inspired by racing bikes

An avid cyclist, Tom Chung designed Fromme by drawing on the components of a bike frame: lightweight, rigid, contoured aluminum tubes assembled with precision. Small shock absorbers placed under the seat absorb movement and give the metal an unexpected level of comfort: this is the technical signature of the entire collection. The aluminum is recyclable, and the matte-grained powder coating is both water and UV resistant.
