Fromme armchair by Tom Chung

An armchair version of the Fromme chair, this piece incorporates the design that made the collection by Tom Chung a success: a die-cast aluminum seat and backrest, legs made of extruded tubes, and a matte, grained, UV-resistant powder coating that allows it to be used outdoors without the color fading. The armrests extend from the legs in a single sweep, widening the seat to a total depth of 59.5 cm for a more enveloping dining comfort. Like the entire collection, it features small shock absorbers under the seat that provide surprising comfort from this bare metal. It is available in the 23 colors of the Petite Friture palette, from Black and Sky Blue to Terracotta and Jade Green.

A collection inspired by racing bicycles

Tom Chung, a passionate cyclist, designed Fromme by drawing on the elements of a bicycle frame: profiled, lightweight, and rigid aluminum tubes assembled with precision. Small shock absorbers placed under the seat absorb movement and provide the metal with unexpected comfort: this is the technical signature of the entire collection. The aluminum is recyclable, and the matte, grained powder coating is resistant to both water and UV rays.
