The Paradigm sofa by Montana Furniture marks the grand return of a Danish design icon created in 1969 by Erik Rasmussen. Initially known as the Paustian Modular Sofa, this visionary modular system profoundly influenced the history of the contemporary sofa thanks to its geometric, minimalist, and adaptable approach.

Reissued today by Montana, Paradigm retains the sculptural and timeless DNA of the original model while integrating modern solutions designed for contemporary use: removable covers, reconfigurable modules, sustainable materials, and high-resilience comfort.

The result: an architectural, elegant, and extremely flexible sofa, designed to evolve with spaces and lifestyles.

A modular design built to last

Paradigm is based on a system of modules that can be combined freely:

• Central pouf / ottoman

• 2-seater, 4-seater, corner, lounge configurations...

The modules are connected by discreet fasteners, allowing for a stable assembly that remains easily demountable. They can also remain independent.
