Fromme 65 cm bar stool by Tom Chung

This bar stool features the beech plywood seat from the Fromme Bois collection at a height of 65 cm, set on a tubular aluminum base fitted with a footrest and mounted on shock absorbers. Five finishes available: black or reddish-brown stained beech, Alpi veneer with a Sottsass pattern, a seat upholstered in SHAKE fabric by ROHI, or black leather. An indoor piece, which can be mixed with the aluminum stools of the same height. Please choose carefully: 65 cm for a countertop, 75 cm for a bar; both versions are available.

Fromme Bois: wood meets aluminum

The Bois version replaces the aluminum seat with a beech plywood shell, set on the same aluminum base; it pairs very well with pieces from the all-aluminum version. The Upholstered finish covers the seat in SHAKE fabric from the German manufacturer ROHI, which has a shimmering surface; the Leather finish wraps it in black leather; the Alpi finishes use a reconstituted wood veneer from the Italian manufacturer ALPI, whose Sottsass pattern comes from the collaboration between the brand and Ettore Sottsass in 1980, during the early days of the Memphis movement. This version is for indoor use only.
