Fromme Chair by Tom Chung

Designed in 2019 by Tom Chung, the Fromme is an all-aluminum chair: the seat and backrest are die-cast, the legs are made of extruded tubing, and the whole piece is finished with a matte, textured, anti-UV treated epoxy paint; this treatment allows it to remain outdoors without the color fading. At 3.8 kg, it can be moved with one hand and stacked for the winter. The seat pad features a slight hollow that makes it more comfortable than the bare metal would suggest. It comes in the 23 colors of the Petite Friture palette, from Black to Sky Blue, including Terracotta and Jade Green, to create a uniform or deliberately mismatched table setting.
