Simone Falcetta

Simone Falcetta est né à Milan le 30 mai 1972. Il étudie l'architecture au Politecnico de Milan, puis part à Madrid en 1993 pour achever ses études ; sa rencontre avec le photographe Alberto García-Alix l'oriente vers la photographie, qui devient son métier. Sa carrière se poursuit entre Paris, New York et Londres, pour des marques et des magazines internationaux. Il est aussi tatoueur, ce qui explique l'imagerie de ce qu'il signe pour Seletti : le scaphandrier des tatouages des années 1940 et les motifs old school de la carafe Mermaid.

Simone Falcetta was born in Milan on May 30, 1972. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, then moved to Madrid in 1993 to complete his studies; his encounter with photographer Alberto García-Alix steered him toward photography, which became his profession. His career continued between Paris, New York, and London, working for international brands and magazines. He is also a tattoo artist, which explains the imagery of his work for Seletti: the diver from 1940s tattoos and the old-school motifs of the Mermaid carafe.
