Milo Series - Seletti

Milo reinterprets the Venus de Milo and gives her a domestic purpose. The vase is a half-bust in gilded porcelain, open at the top to hold stems; the umbrella stand is the same body enlarged, molded in glossy white fiberglass and hollowed out to the base. The drapery, the twist of the shoulders, and the broken arms of the antique statue are kept as is: it is the function, not the form, that Studio Job shifts.
