Lvdis Series - Seletti

Lvdis is a series of weightlifting equipment carved from marble, designed by Alessandro Zambelli and inspired by the games of ancient Rome. The weight is engraved in Roman numerals, in the style of lapidary inscriptions, and the octagonal geometry of the handles recalls the fluting of Doric columns. These are functional objects, but their material and mass make them as much pieces to be left on display as they are sports equipment.
