Kintsugi Collection - Seletti

Kintsugi is the Japanese technique of repairing broken ceramics by highlighting the break with a gold pour, rather than concealing it. Marcantonio created a collection using this technique for Seletti, presented at Maison&Objet in 2018: the white porcelain is traversed by 24-karat gold veins that trace invented fractures. The network of veins changes from one item to the next, meaning that two pieces placed side by side do not feature the same design. The series covers plates, cutlery, a display stand, a vase, and a sculpture.
