Francis Series

The edge of a Francis is not a frame: it is a watercolor. Constance Guisset hand-painted two series of hues, digitally reworked and then printed onto mirror and captured within a lamination of glass. The collection translates this same gesture into wall mirrors and tables—where the mirror, laid flat, no longer reflects the face but the ceiling.
