Lire la suiteShaped Mirrors are cut-out mirrors: there is no added frame; the glass itself takes on an irregular shape that serves as the design. The pattern is screen-printed directly onto the mirror, so that the reflection and the printed image occupy the same surface and overlap as you approach. The format is that of an entryway or bedroom mirror, about forty centimeters wide by seventy centimeters high, small enough to be placed above a console table. The publisher links them to Giampiero Romanò's Antichità 3000 collection and plays on the line from the fairy tale, "mirror, mirror on the wall": the gesture depicted on the glass is that of the person looking at it. The piece is wall-mounted and does not have built-in lighting.

La maison
Seletti
