The VL45 Radiohus pendant, designed by Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in partnership with Louis Poulsen, is an iconic piece of Danish functionalist design. Originally created for the Radio House in Copenhagen in the 1940s, this pendant was reintroduced in 2016 as the VL45 Radiohus Pendant. It features a design faithful to the original, with a satin-polished brass mount and a shade made of three layers of mouth-blown glass, providing a soft and warm light. The glass layers are arranged to offer clarity and elegance, with outer and inner layers of transparent polished glass and a middle layer of white glass.
