À propos de Doshi Levien

Doshi Levien is a London-based design studio founded in 2000 by Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien.

Nipa Doshi, originally from India, studied at the National Institute of Design. Jonathan Levien, from Scotland, trained in fine cabinetmaking and then industrial design. Both continued their education at the Royal College of Art.

The studio is renowned for technically accomplished pieces infused with cultural references: Nipa Doshi primarily works with visual culture and materiality, while Jonathan Levien focuses on precision and industrial technique.

For HAY, they designed the Quilton sofa, the Uchiwa lounge chair, and the Dapper collection.
