Cassina
Iconic brand of Italian Design, Cassina was founded in 1927 north of Milan, by two brothers: Umberto and Cesare Cassina.
A pioneer in industrial design, it flourished in the 1950s and distinguished itself by putting technology at the service of promoting traditional craft techniques. Big names in Italian architecture and design, such as Gio Ponti, contribute to its development, both aesthetically and in terms of innovation.
The brand quickly achieved international success and thus became one of the most influential in the contemporary furniture industry. It produces emblematic pieces of 20th century design such as the very comfortable armchair by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand or the LC4 armchair.
