The sofa consists of three modules connected by steel hooks and receivers.
The Quilton sofa range is created by the London studio Doshi Levien. This sofa is described in their terms as “a quilted landscape sofa system”.
This range of modular sofas is designed as a central platform for living, working, socializing and relaxing. It offers a wide assortment of different modules. It is multifunctional. Thus, it is totally versatile and adapts to a very wide range of interiors.
It offers flexibility thanks to the modular system. It has generous dimensions and sculpted shapes.
The quilted padding offers softness and volume to this seat. The foam and wadding seats bring comfort to this sofa. The suspension is made on Nosag springs which have very good elasticity and great longevity.

Doshi Levine is a London-based design studio, founded in 2000 by Nina Doshi and Jonathan Levien.
Nipa Doshi is originally from India, she studied at the National Institute of Design. Jonathan Levien is originally from Scotland and studied fine cabinetmaking, then industrial design. Both continued their training at the Royal College of Art.
They have carved out a solid reputation thanks to their technically advanced design and the cultural impregnation of their creation. Nipa Doshi works mainly on visual culture, the aesthetic understanding of the world and the materiality of things. Jonathan Levien focuses on precision and knowledge of industrial technology.
In 2008, they received the Futura Legends of design prize from the Cooper Hewitt National Museum in New York.
They worked for companies and institutions to create furniture, lighting, etc.
For the Hay Brand, they created the Quilton sofa, the Uchiwa lounge chair and Dapper.

The HAY brand was founded in 2002 in Denmark by the couple Rolf & Mette Hay.
Inspired by art, architecture and fashion, the Hay couple wanted to produce designer furniture accessible to as many people as possible, reflecting the innovative grandeur of Danish design from the 1950s and 1960s.
Hay places design at the center of the home and office with simple, functional and aesthetic products, in collaboration with contemporary artists and designers.
Since 2018, HAY has been expanding and developing across the Atlantic by partnering with the American furniture company Herman Miller, whose historical heritage in design is no longer in doubt.
