The sofa consists of two modules connected by steel hooks and receivers.

The Quilton sofa range is created by the London-based studio Doshi Levien. In their own words, this sofa is described as “a quilted landscape sofa system”.

This modular sofa range is designed as a central platform for living, working, socializing and relaxing. It offers a wide assortment of different modules. It is multifunctional. As such, it is completely versatile and adapts to a very wide range of interiors.

It offers flexibility thanks to the modular system. It has generous dimensions and sculptural shapes.

The quilted upholstery offers softness and volume to this seat. The foam and wadding seats provide comfort to this sofa. The suspension is made using Nosag springs, which have excellent elasticity and long durability.

Doshi Levien

Fondé en 2000 · Studio basé à Londres

Fondé à Londres en 2000 par Nipa Doshi, formée au National Institute of Design en Inde, et Jonathan Levien, ébéniste écossais devenu designer industriel, Doshi Levien croise culture visuelle et rigueur technique. Chez HAY, le studio signe le canapé Quilton, proposé ici en versions d'angle et 3 places, avec ottoman et coussins.

La maison

Hay

HAY est un éditeur de design danois fondé à Copenhague en 2002 par Rolf et Mette Hay. Les deux fondateurs en assurent toujours la direction artistique, Rolf pour le mobilier, Mette pour les accessoires. La maison travaille avec des designers contemporains comme Ronan et Erwan Bouroullec, auteurs de la collection d'extérieur Palissade, Stefan Diez, Hee Welling, créateur de la série About A Chair, ou Louise Campbell, dont la Prince Chair de 2002 est entrée au MoMA. Depuis 2019, l'américain Herman Miller, aujourd'hui MillerKnoll, en est l'actionnaire majoritaire.
