Korpus Shelf is a series of colorful wall shelves created for HAY by Norwegian product designer Andreas Bergsaker. Starting from the desire to create a durable and versatile shelf from recyclable materials, Korpus Shelf is made from aluminum sheets, known for their lightness, strength and ability to be reused countless times. The aluminum is subjected to an industrial stamping and punching process to form the distinctively curved column and top. Keyhole slots on the back make mounting easy, while hidden hooks in the column provide additional hanging possibilities. Available in a wide range of sizes and colors, these versatile shelves can be used in many rooms around the home, for example as a coat rack in the hallway, for storing kitchen utensils, hanging bath towels or displaying ornaments in the living room.

Andreas Bergsaker (born 1990) is a Norwegian product designer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He completed a master's degree in product design at the University of Oslo and Akershus (HiOA) School of Applied Sciences in 2015. His work covers different everyday objects, designed for product longevity and generations to come. His designs are rooted in the exploration of materials and forms, and reference cultural heritage with an emphasis on traditional craftsmanship, industrial production processes and tactile qualities. His work has given rise to exhibitions in London, Milan, New York, Oslo and Stockholm. For HAY, Andreas Bergsaker designed Korpus.

The HAY brand was founded in 2002 in Denmark by the couple Rolf & Mette Hay.
Inspired by art, architecture and fashion, the Hay couple wanted to produce designer furniture accessible to as many people as possible, reflecting the innovative grandeur of Danish design from the 1950s and 1960s.
Hay places design at the center of the home and office with simple, functional and aesthetic products, in collaboration with contemporary artists and designers.
Since 2018, HAY has been expanding and developing across the Atlantic by partnering with the American furniture company Herman Miller, whose historical heritage in design is no longer in doubt.
