Lire la suiteThe HW81 is a low-backed stool: the shell wraps around the seat and rises just enough to support the lower back, without extending above the work surface. The seat height is 65 cm, which is suitable for a counter of approximately 90 cm. It arrives assembled, with nothing to put together: the shell is bolted onto a welded steel tube base, powder-coated in black or bronze. Glides are selected at the time of order, felt for parquet and tile floors, plastic for carpet.
The shell is injection-molded from 100% recycled polypropylene, reinforced with fiberglass for rigidity. The black plastic comes from automotive interior panels, the colored shells from industrial scrap. The material is ground down, mixed with pigment, and then injected: the color is therefore integrated into the material rather than on the surface, so a scratch will not reveal a different shade. &Tradition has been a B Corporation certified company since October 2024.

La maison
&Tradition
