Palissade rectangular table L 220 by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec

This is the longest of the Palissade tables: 220 cm by 90, seating eight without the need for extensions or joins. The tabletop is made of the same spaced, flat slats as the collection's seating: this is not a formal design choice, but a functional one that lets rainwater pass through instead of pooling, meaning there is no need to wipe the table after a shower. The four-legged base leaves both ends clear, allowing for seating at the head of the table. The 75 cm height is standard and pairs with the 45 cm seat height of the chairs, armchairs, and benches in the series. It is available in powder-coated steel, a furnace-baked powder paint that forms a hard, opaque layer, and in hot-dip galvanized steel, which is immersed in a bath of molten zinc: this finish is not painted, it develops a patina over time, and is the most resistant option for seaside locations.
