Table d'appoint Teti 6006 : du grès émaillé qui reste dehors toute l'année

Teti est une petite table d'extérieur dessinée par Prospero Rasulo en 2006, en grès fin émaillé. Le grès est cuit à 1 250 °C sur un cycle de 36 heures, ce qui le rend non poreux et résistant au gel : la table peut rester dehors en hiver sans que l'eau infiltrée ne la fasse éclater. L'émaillage est appliqué à la main, en deux couches d'épaisseur contrôlée — d'où les légères variations de surface d'une pièce à l'autre, qui ne sont pas des défauts. La couleur est un vert-jaune. Elle mesure 34 cm de diamètre pour 44 cm de hauteur, et sert aussi bien de tabouret d'appoint que de table. Sa jumelle Zeus est identique en bleu-brun.

Prospero Rasulo dessine pour Zanotta les petites tables Tempo, en 2001, retenue à l'ADI Design Index 2002, puis Teti et Zeus en 2006, deux tables d'extérieur en grès émaillé. Ses pièces pour l'éditeur partagent un principe : une forme pleine, colorée, qui tient debout sans structure apparente.
