Ottmar Hörl, a multidisciplinary German artist, is internationally recognized for his avant-garde style and his daring to undertake colossal projects. Sculptures, serial sculpture installations, photographs and conceptual objects: its aim is to offer a type of art accessible to all, in particular to democratize sculpture by exhibiting gigantic and radical projects in public spaces. Today, it is his garden gnome Ben, presented in Cologne for the first time in 2005, which contributes to his great reputation: his installations are regularly exhibited in European capitals. Passionate about the democratization of art, he uses simple materials like PVC. Very invested in the world of Fine Arts, he is one of the founding members of the Nuremberg Academy in 1999, of which he became president in 2005. He has been rewarded with numerous prizes awarded for his great creativity and his radical and offensive vision of promoting the democratization of sculpture. He is also a founding member of the Fomalhaut group in 1985: a design, art and architecture studio where he contributed to the design in collaboration with architects of impressive design pieces such asLiving Room: a contemporary residence in the medieval center from Gelnhause in Germany.

Two hundred penguins grouped together in a room at Untergröningen Castle. As part of the 7thSummerof Art and Culture 2007 under the theme "The exposed animal – animal coexistences", Ottmar Hörl chose the emperor penguin. "I am fascinated by the behavior of the brooding emperor penguin in the middle of the inhospitable Antarctic winter. For an entire colony of penguins, only a few parameters and well-defined rules of the game guarantee the survival of the chicks and birds for nine months adults or the carried egg They live in a system which does not allow any reprieve. Their coexistence returns them to themselves. In the Antarctic, there is no coexistence – there is only the white and the. black and penguins live most of the time in a landscape saturated with white.

A tracking number will be sent to you by email automatically. Larger products are shipped by specialized carrier. You will be contacted to set a time slot at your convenience. We also ensure international delivery of all our products by La Poste Colissimo, GLS or by specialized carrier.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
The customer has a period of fourteen days to exercise his right of withdrawal and return at his own expense the products which do not give him satisfaction in accordance with article L.121-20 of the Consumer Code , The products must be returned in their original packaging, in resalable condition. Any product returned damaged will not be refunded. PLEASE NOTE: any "personalized" product (choice of fabric, color of wood, custom dimensions, etc.) cannot be refunded: the product is not in stock and is specially made by the manufacturer to the customer.
