Lire la suiteThe Matin ceiling lamp is a lacquered steel mount that attaches to the ceiling or wall and is covered by the series' pleated shade.
The shade is made of pleated cotton laminated to a PVC sheet: this is the exact description from HAY: cotton fabric laminated to a PVC sheet. The pleating is therefore more than just decoration; it stiffens the shade and diffuses the light by breaking it into vertical facets. The fabric is dyed in a range of bold colors that are the signature of the series.
