“Offered in colors softly faded by the sun, the Terrazza tablecloth brings warmth to the table, both indoors and out. Woven from a blend of 52% organic cotton and 48% linen, with a unique texture and rustic character, it adds a touch of natural elegance to any table.”: HAY
A single size, 150 × 230 cm, and three faded shades: cream, soft olive, and soft bordeaux: the same as the parasol fabric, only paler.
Material
A blend of organic cotton (52%) and linen (48%): the linen provides texture and structure, the cotton provides suppleness. The fabric wrinkles like linen, and this is intentional.
Terrazza, the terrace according to HAY
Terrazza is the outdoor accessory collection launched by HAY in spring 2026: a parasol, its base and cover, striped cushions, and a tablecloth. HAY presents it as “a versatile collection of outdoor accessories that brings the comfort of the home outside, made of textiles, shade, and soft surfaces to create welcoming outdoor scenes,” in “durable and easy-care materials.” The pieces are designed to go with HAY garden furniture, Palissade first and foremost, as well as any other.
The design
The Terrazza collection is not attributed to any external designer: HAY signs it with its own name and its product page carries no author credit. This is common for the brand, which calls on independent designers for part of its catalog and designs the rest itself. What defines the piece here is its purpose: HAY constructs it from anti-UV treated polypropylene fabric on an aluminum pole, for the garden, the terrace, and the balcony.
