The headboard is padded with self-extinguishing polyurethane foam and heat-bonded polyester fiber, with a fixed internal nylon fabric cover; the external cover is fully removable. The bed base is made of aluminum-colored varnished steel, with sprung slats in curved beechwood mounted on nylon joints, featuring stiffness adjusters. Inside the frame, a storage compartment is revealed by lifting the base with an assisted mechanism. The bed can be ordered in fabric or leather. The specific color is selected on our Fabrics and Materials page and confirmed before production begins.
Six upholstery options are offered: three fabric categories and three leather categories. The difference is not merely cosmetic: for the same size, category 99 leather costs approximately 55% more than category 20 fabric. The category determines the price; within a category, the choice of color is free.
