Rely HW33 Chair by Hee Welling

The HW33 is the armchair version of the Rely chair. The armrests are molded into the shell, forming a single piece with the seat and backrest, rather than being attached separately: there are no visible screws or joints in this area. They reach a height of 67.3 cm, which fits under most table tops measuring 73 to 75 cm, but it is worth checking if you intend to slide the chairs completely under the table. The seat height is 45.5 cm. The chair arrives assembled, set on four welded tubular steel legs—available in black, chrome, or bronze—with felt glides for hardwood and tile floors, or plastic glides for carpet.

What "100% recycled polypropylene" means

The shell is injection-molded from polypropylene made of 100% recycled material, reinforced with 10% glass fiber for rigidity. The black plastic comes from automotive interior panels, while the colored shells are made from industrial offcuts. The material is shredded, mixed with pigment, and then injected: the color is therefore integrated into the material rather than just on the surface, so a scratch will not reveal a different shade. &Tradition has been a certified B Corporation since October 2024.
