The Diamond chair, imagined by Harry Bertoia for Knoll, is as much a work of art as it is a functional piece of furniture. Created in 1952, this iconic piece of modern design is composed of a steel wire mesh structure supported by slender metal legs. Each wire is meticulously hand-bent before being welded and chromed, reflecting Bertoia's artisanal approach to design.

Le designer

Harry Bertoia
