The top support and the foot are made of die-cast aluminum, the upright is made of extruded aluminum, and the shelves are available in bent sheet steel or wood veneer.
Rombe is composed of bays. A solid bay (IF1, IF2, IF3) is self-supporting: it stands on its own. An extension bay (IF4, IF5, IF6) connects to an existing bay, with which it shares an upright, which explains its slightly narrower width: 81.5 cm compared to 83.

Industrial Facility est le studio londonien fondé en 2002 par Sam Hecht, designer industriel, et Kim Colin, architecte, qui cherchent la forme juste à partir des usages. La boutique propose leurs pièces pour &Tradition, le système d'étagères et de bureaux Rombe et la chaise Kape.
La maison
&Tradition
&Tradition est un éditeur danois fondé à Copenhague en 2010 par Martin Kornbek Hansen. Son catalogue suit deux lignes : la réédition de classiques du design danois et des créations contemporaines. Côté patrimoine, la maison édite la suspension Flowerpot dessinée par Verner Panton en 1968, le fauteuil Little Petra conçu par Viggo Boesen dans les années 1930, ainsi que des pièces d'Arne Jacobsen et de Jørn Utzon. Côté création, elle travaille notamment avec Space Copenhagen, auteur du canapé Fly, Jaime Hayon et Luca Nichetto.
